　　on the peaks of which…(句末)，作定语从句，修饰先行词cliffs;which是关系代词，指代cliffs。

　　这一句如果不做从句，那么应该是On the peaks of the cliffs grew small bamboos. 如果是正常语序，则是Small bamboos grew on the peaks of the cliffs.

　　最后的an enchanting emerld 相当于small bamboos的同位语，是对bamboos进一步修饰，说这些竹子翠绿翠绿的，很好看。emerald 祖母绿，绿宝石，可数名词。也可表示“翠绿色”，相当于emerald green，此时是集合名词：a bright green color like that of an emerld。
